In a recent announcement we learned that Synology America Corp announced the official launch of the successor to the network attached storage unit DS710 with the DiskStation DS712+ to their menu of already successful products.
A new two-bay model ships with a dual-core, 1.8GHz processor and 1GB DDR3 memory designed for small businesses, and with Synology DX510 expansion it offers a unique solution by scaling up a compact 2-bay NAS server into a 7-bay, providing up to 21TB of storage capacity. Some of its main features include iSCSI and VM server support, Windows ADS, LDAP and much more.
